Frequently asked

  • Base pricing for custom work is $600 for a medium sized piece (20” x 36” approx). Large hangings or macrame pieces (3’ X 3’ and up) start at $1,600, increasing with the size and scope of the project. Once you have discussed the project in full with me, you will be asked for a non-refundable 50% initial deposit that can be paid by paypal or etransfer at the time of the booking. The remaining part of the payment will be due upon receipt of your piece (or before shipping). Taxes will be added where applicable.

  • I handweave every piece in my studio and it takes many hours for a medium size weaving. The larger works can take weeks at a time to complete, hang and prepare to ship. With custom work, the lead time will vary and we can work together towards an agreeable timeline; approximately 6 – 8 weeks for production and add 3 – 4 days for delivery (depending on location). If you are local to the Victoria area, we can arrange a pick up!

  • Shipping is not included in the price. Please refer to my Shipping + Handling FAQ for details.

  • Your wall hanging is a fine quality handwoven product that will last many years. To keep your weaving in its best condition, do not hang in direct sunlight. As with any work of art, direct sunlight will fade the piece over time. Do not hang by open doors or windows. Try to keep your wall hanging in one location without a lot of transfer. Keep away from pets and small children. Your artwork will generally not need any deep cleaning. Lightly dust weaving every so often if desired. Spot clean only if necessary, blot dry, do not rub or agitate the fibres. Do not wash or dry clean.

  • Your satisfaction with your investment and experience is of the utmost importance to me. I also stand behind my art and only create work that I love, putting my heart into every piece. I will try to find a solution to the situation in any way that I can. However, due to the one of a kind nature of this work, I typically do not accept returns or provide refunds.

I can’t wait to create a design that is custom made for you— woven with much love and intention.
